"After falling asleep on the last train, I woke up in a bizarre place called Saihate Station..."
Oh this surprisingly made me cry. The art, the characters design, the pixels just everything is a genuine 10/10 for me. This explores the themes of codependency, envy, and emotional conflict. The tense central relationship, the push and pull, the shame and longing, the contrast between closeness and distance. Haru's inner conflict, his whole character being defined by self-doubt and insecurity as he sees Shion as everything he's not yet Shion himself cares for Haru but also unknowingly reinforces Haru's feelings of inferiority. Both are emotionally tied in a way that's comforting yet suffocating. Haru depends on Shion for validation, while Shion depends on Haru to feel needed. We see how affection, guilt, and resentment blur into each other. Not only that, this also explores the themes of guilt, punishment, and forgiveness as the story unfolds. They are haunted not by monsters, but by the weight of their actions. It's fascinating how the "station" is not a place of escape, but of confrontation.
The game was really good; I loved the art, the characters design are gorgeous, even the pixels are so cute. You decipher the story as you progress through the game, and the puzzles are easy. That said, I spent the entire game making up my own conspiracy theories; it was really fun to discover that I was wrong about certain things.
genuinly peak like you could analyze this so hard im shocked. its a lot like omori so if you liked that plus some bromance ish then you will like tis too
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEEEEEEE play this! It's pretty short (2 hours to complete, 3-4 hours if you want to get ALL the endings) with some beautiful art and I really dug the relationship between the two MCs. If you're a toxic yaoi fan, play this. If you're a yandere fan, play this. If you're just a fan of two people who are maybe a little very fucked up, navigating what they've forgotten and their own relationship, play this. This game is very much a character study, and the plot is meant to facilitate that. All in all, once I was finished with this, suffice to say that these two make me ILL. I am so excited for when the DLC gets an English translation; it looks so beautiful...
Hey, viv. just wondering about the Mobile version. in steam and itch.io it was publish by you, but the mobile version was by a studio named "Realize Factory". so... is it legit or not ?
